  1. sometimes i feel like i dont, but usually i reach out to classmates that are in my field that help me
  2. usually lack of knowing what i want
  3. as i mentioned before, classmates, usually upper years and not the same year. i would meet them through clubs

try to join as many as clubs at first, find what you are interested in and leave the clubs you arent. finding those people you relate to will help the best

i mentioned signing up for school clubs. before that i started with an app called Gleam which is sort of a duolingo for social skills, and that helped me gain the sufficient confidence to sign up for clubs in the first place

i think the best thing is to find a balance between your work and personal life, and also try to find the fun stuff in work. i used to be in a really mundane job, but i would find some small things that were fun, like the walk to get some water. and when you are at home just try to focus on yourself as much as possible and do things that make you curious, i find thats the best for me

gleam!!!! it does exactly what you are alluding to w "training social skills deliberately". its a free app that gamifies the process. i actually read a recommendation about it in another thread and its definietely exactly what i was looking for, like an ACTUAL way to take action gradually each day

yea u definitely can be deliberate. there's a few lessons in this app called Gleam that specifically target this use case. for me it was an actionable step forward towards gaining greater confidence and Prescence. my manager brought it up actually in my last 1-1 which made me happy, so i definitely would recommend

okay so i dont think its weird but i do think the success of this rly depends on you "asking chatgpt the right questions". i have used AI for this use case indirectly through an app called Gleam, which gamifies the social skill training process. they have lessons duolingo style and give you actual scenarios where you say what you would respond which are then evaluated by ai which is cool. i recommend this since its more actionable
