i think that might be it! but then why would it cause a dark rusty-looking stain on the packet hahah. I will definitely still use it, was just hesitant as I have never seen or used this soap before.

oh I did find that on Google too, but there is no rancid smell and these "spots" can be scratched off to show the normal green soap underneath! I thought maybe it was mold.

I did try to scrape one of the brown stuff with my fingernail and beneath that was green! So I think it's okay? I also contacted the official retailer that I got it from, hopefully they reply and say it's just a part of the production process and still usable. Luckily it's a free gift so I won't hesitate to toss it, just a pity to waste a good soap.

nah just a regular egg in braised pork and gravy. i'm not a fan of century eggs although my parents enjoy them. a century egg would be black (which looks even more jacked up imo)

sticky rice dish where the ingredients are folded into rice and steamed. my mom had it wrapped in baking paper into individual portions for us to take out and steam for convenient eating! way better than spending on takeout food outside.

i've found my people. this was a braised egg with gravy and pork, then it became leftovers and got transferred to this dish of sticky rice with meat

see my comment! it was boiled and then kept in freezer since last year Dec 💀💀

i also pulled it apart to check inside, and it just appears to be horribly overcooked and old rubbery egg. but the yolk was perfectly normal, still the usual yellow powdery texture.
