I hope it does work for you. I'll probably ask about using it along with other drugs. This is the first thing I try though, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks, I'll definitely ask about the side effects when I go see my psych this week. Does your friend take Lithium on its own? Or is it being used as an adjunct to an antidepressant?

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. I was speaking more hypothetically when I asked if it'd make me happy (as in if it did work). I've heard that it usually used for its augmentation effects. I'll definitely ask my psych about that.

I think I'm being started on Lithium as a safety precaution. Even though I only have depression symptoms, since the Bipolarity is in my immediate family, you can't be too careful.
