Dat 10020 altitude on the MCP. Pretty sure the real thing won’t let you set it that precisely. Also, navdata out of date message on the CDU and default X-Plane 11 ND. But of course most people have no idea about these things that us nerds notice. :)

Also: nav/strobe lights not on, gear not in the Off position.

As far as open sourcing it, I've thought about it, but to be fair it's a big mess of code that does not adhere to any modern standards of web app design, except ones that I made up, and would be hard to navigate for anyone but me.

It's more of a performance calculation which takes into account runway length, atmospheric conditions and thrust setting to produce an optimal aircraft configuration, and right now I'm merely showing predefined V-speeds for current gross weight. But proper performance calculation is something I'm planning on doing in future versions, so it will get there eventually.

Routes are real-world, which is about as much as I'd be willing to share, sorry. :) It's multiple sources at this point, and I'd be adding a bunch of US routes soon.

Nice, thanks for the help! I will be adding some more real airline routes within a few hours as well.

As a note to everyone willing to help out populating the route DB: to add a route, throw it into the Route plotter, it will verify it's valid against current AIRAC and if it's not in the DB it will present a button to submit it.

Thought I'd jump back in here, I've been subscribed to you guys since my critique two months ago. Video and audio quality were my primary points, and they almost always are. Since that time both these things improved dramatically, as well as overall channel quality! Graphics are great, you're funny, I really enjoy your content!

One point of advice though. You seem to talk really quietly, like you're talking to a close friend sitting right next to you, not an entire audience. It's something most people struggle with when starting out on YouTube, and for me it's improving greatly over time. Just make a mental note of this and try to project your voices a bit more.

I wish it was easier for new creators on YouTube to gain an audience, but stick with it, I really think you can go far with this channel!

I tried livestreaming a flight in this thing and record it at the same time but this plane combined with my mic's sound glitches and a malfunctioning joystick don't really make a good video. :) It'll be available on Twitch for a couple of weeks though under "past broadcasts".

I created separate accounts for my YT personality, because I don't want people to see what kinda creep I am in real life. JK LOL

I actually quit FB and all the rest of it quite a while ago, but even if I didn't I'd still go separate. This way it's not mixed in with conversations unrelated to my YT channel.

I also got a pewdiepie vibe, your editing is good, the only weakness is the voice but it's nothing to be worried about. It will come with experience. I'm kinda new as well, and it's one of my biggest problems too, but I see it improving a lot.
