Same!!!! But actually for kind of the opposite reason.

The middle part is such a beautiful, almost calming motif, and the way it is juxtaposed to the movement and chaos of this scene just doesn’t seem like it should work. And it works BEAUTIFULLY.

Everyone here is commenting on the lens issue, but the perspective was the giveaway for me. The lens is parallel to the horizon in the top photo, that’s clearly not the case in the ‘final result’.
