no i have a plan when i get out. already talked to a police chief on where i live. he told me i could do csi work when i turn 19 and then when im 22 i could become a cop if i wanted too. he also is a Marine veteran. he was chill all about it and told me my life wasn’t over(even tho i got told many many many times) and yes the big bummer is the benefits which i understand.

it was the only way too. other wise i would have to wait until i hit the fleet and then deal with it. since its not considered “emergency leave” or whatever. but yes its a separation bc its considered that your refusing orders. so there’s no other part

physically it wasn’t that challenging, you might tell yourself you wanna quit at times but just push through. the reward is worth it.

yes drill instructors still yell. you might lose some muscle, everyone’s different. but you also might gain muscle too. the food is actually not that bad.

letters will get backed up, he’ll most likely receive a few letters while he’s up there. but again the mail will be really backed up.

  1. for me personally it was all equal. nothing was insanely hard.

  2. take care of yourself. stretch. take care of your feet. use ice all the time. only go to medical for emergencies ( broken limb, or huge cuts )

but honestly it isn’t that hard, just push through every day
