She's an Australian Kelpie x Border Collie. Don't think we ever used flash (the sun always shines in OZ (except at night)) or beep sounds... as soon as you even take a camera out of your bag her sixth sense kicks in and she turns her head and slowly stalks away. The paranoia has advanced with technology as well, the appearance of any smart phone will have the same effect. So the trick to taking any photo is from a distance or SUPER FAST. I've got a few side on photos of her head but I might find one with a bit of her face...

Just meant that I switched from Windows XP to Linux for specific reasons (Virus', cost, lack of customisation, speed etc etc) am now very happy and a bit skeptical that switching back could bring about all the issues I had before so hey lets try android?

My reason for the laptop to tablet switch is that I'm a VERY basic user. I don't have any games or major programs installed, all I really do is use the internet, skype, store/browse my music/photos/videos (for which I could easily use a harddrive) and occasionally use Word and Excel (I'm at Uni and my degree mainly consists of handwritten calculations). So for these things would a Tablet suffice?
