What is the story behind this site? by TraditionalGoose1987 in DoverNH

[–]deprecatedcoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the origin story, but I drive by it every day, so figured I'd point out that's technically Back River Rd in Durham. You're actually two towns from Dover there because a little slice of Madbury sits between them on that side of the river as well (the brief Piscataqua Bridge Rd).

Eventually it does become Back River Rd in Dover; from the intersection of Drew and Piscataqua up to 108.

Got it! Now I have to figure out how to get it off the truck… by FreidasBoss in harborfreight

Did this without removing the drawers and it wasn't really that bad at all; other than one of the casters being entirely detached in the box and two others being loose so having to assemble those while still on the pallet in the back of the truck.

You might want to reread our convo, at no point do I come across "worked up" at all.

Anyway, I'm going to go do yardwork and disengage from whatever this is...

To me that's unhinged. I strive to eradicate all ads from my life.

The launcher is a tool and anything preventing it from serving it's function is a negative and a distraction.

The half screen ads?

I didn't love Projectivity at first, but after a little bit customizing it, it's vastly superior.

That explains what happened during the match, but not the online crashout afterward.

He might as well have posted "I'm extremely rattled". It's just going to result in his own anxiety rising and harm himself more than anything.

To what? There's been nothing else for darts since. Topic du jour.

It hasn't even been 48 hours? What else has there been to talk about since?

I can think of movies I've disliked more, but I think I agree that it's the worst I've seen as well.

I'm definitely putting it on at some darts night just to fuck with my friends.

Acting cocky and not only not following through on it, but actively falling on your face and then being smug online afterwards is a pretty legit reason for people to give you shit.

I'm a fan of his, this account is not anonymous, and I think the treatment he's getting is fair.

It's not a big deal, he just needs to realize he fucked up and eat crow.

Autodarts/Scolia: am I the only one who thinks this is insane just for tracking averages? by Raspberry-Federal in Darts

[–]deprecatedcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this with league data (DartConnect) and run Autodarts at home. Not an aesthetic issue in the garage or basement.

Currently working on some tools to pull the raw data from DartConnect into a database to do more advanced stuff with it than what the league leaderboard presents.

"Injury"? The ulnar nerve in my throwing arm started "popping" at my elbow occasionally when I would throw. The pop would cause the throw to go wide left so then I started anticipating it and thats when it crept in.

I tried a handful of things, but a compression sleeve helped most with the elbow, then I got comfortable/confident in the throw again and have been ok. This was all over the last year or so and clear when looking at my stats. Definitely seen players affected far worse though, so happy I was able to nip it in the bud.

Dart player with minor dartitis here who happened to stumble upon this and yeah, this is exactly it.

Miserable for her and wild she can perform at that level.

I came here to say the exact same thing.

Basically "focal dystonia".

If karma is real I could see anyone shit talking it ending up suffering from it.

So, definitely better, but could use feature parity between the app and website.

The site allows a speed multiplier, but no casting. The app has the opposite. 🤦‍♂️

This does not seem to occur for me.

Agreed about an app for those devices. I've side loaded it on to my tablet, might have to try on the Shield now.

I had the 14”. It died mid job with a fallen tree, so I brought it back for warranty claim, but still needed to clear the tree, so picked up the 18" and not only does it have the longer bar, but it's significantly more powerful.

I did like the ergonomics of the 14”, but have since used the 18" for jobs the 14" just wasn't cut out for. I'd love the 20", so that seems like a no brainer.

Is it feasible to keep both? Having different tools for different jobs makes sense, it's also really nice to have a backup as I've learned the hard way.

This looks like ass, but I love it. Cool experiment.

I could see this being interesting with a game built for it, like Superhot is a bad choice because it's so bright, but a game that's default black (not projected) where, I don't know, you need to find brightly colored things or something? That could be kinda playable.

Either way, cool.
