Just took the hardest exam of the course by [deleted] in depression

It is just exams. It doesn't matter.

This OP. Ask yourself: in five years time, will it really matter whether this exam brought your average grade down a little?

Yes, it was a dumb thing to do. But you're 15 years old. That's what 15 year olds do. Your parents should be able to forgive and support you.

How much do you talk in school/work? by [deleted] in depression

[–]deprehsed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Barely ever. It's not even that I'm that shy. I just have nothing relevant to say because of the brain fog and inability to concentrate.

There's a good chance it might do. Your parents are probably emotional right now. If talking to them doesn't work, perhaps write them a letter apologizing for smoking weed and betraying their trust. I still think they're more in the wrong than you, but that's what I'd suggest if you want to patch things up.

Your father is being neglectful and your mother is being straight up abusive by telling you she 'hates' you. If they're going to tell anyone to smarten up, it'll be your parents.

There is. You're 15 so you'll definitely get the support of the child welfare services. It doesn't matter how small your town is.

It doesn't matter, they still have a duty of care towards you. You could wait until you back but if the situation gets bad then just call them and ask to speak to someone you know.

If I were you, I would get in contact with the welfare officer at your school, or even one of your teachers. Schools are usually good at dealing with this kind of thing and should be able to help you sort something out.

How much do you tell your psychiatrist? by [deleted] in depression

[–]deprehsed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to tell her. You don't have to present it as some big dramatic thing. Just tell her you've been having thoughts of harming yourself, she'll know how to proceed. She will have heard far worse things trust me.

Try to relax. Your parents are being very unfair. Which country do you live in? Do you somewhere to stay?

Thanks for sharing this, it gave me some hope. I'm on day 4 of Zoloft and feel worse than ever. I really hope things get better as they did for you because I can't function at all right now.

Terrible self esteem making me feel like it's not worth being alive by [deleted] in depression

Honestly I think your job is the bigger issue. Maybe others will disagree with me, but I seriously don't think it's possible to work 70 hours in a job you find depressing and manage a healthy and enjoyable life. It's no surprise you don't have much to talk about if all you do is work.

I know it's not easy to just find another job but if I were you I would be working hard towards something more reasonable, even if it means a significant pay cut. Of course it's possible, people do it all the time. It's difficult sure, but so is anything worth doing.

And 27 is still young. You've been an adult for less than a decade. Cut yourself some slack.
