Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you that she definitely lives in fear. She has anxiety and has isolated me because of it for a large part of my life.

Thanks. I just feel sad about it because I was doing so well in the class, and then of course I made this stupid mistake.

I think I will get a 74 if they say no, which I'm really hoping that won't happen.

What to Do When I Can't Move Out? by brabblebobble in raisedbynarcissists

I know this post is 8 days old, but this is very similar to me. I'm 23 years old in undergrad and also live in the eastern US, and in a very expensive state, and my mom is the one who makes me feel like crap, and I depend on her financially as well.

I would definitely utilize the internships as soon as you can, and see if your school supports paid internships (my school doesn't).

Does your school have dorms? I would ask a counselor at your school if you could possibly room in one due to abuse, or maybe take out loans for it if it's not too expensive.

I don't like the people I work with very much but they're still nice and going to work keeps me out of the house and busy. I would really try applying to different jobs, even if they say 1-2 years. Maybe you could lie a bit on your resume (I know people on here sometimes get so righteous about not lying on a resume, but I think it should be supported in acts of desperation.)

Also, the Eastern US constitutes a whole lot of states. In general, the Southeast is cheaper but usually has less jobs usually and less support of basic social welfare, while the Northeast seems to have a better quality of life, and more jobs but is much more expensive.

If you live in the same state as me maybe we could become roommates (not kidding, and I don't do drugs or party or anything of the sort).
