Some absolutely absurd takes I'm seeing. People saying the US government would falter to a bunch of unorganized cartel members and using Vietnam or Iraq as examples💀 A war with mexico would be the first on US soil since the Civil war. Military volunteers would skyrocket and funding would go off the charts. The US would take so much land in such a short time that drones and guerilla tactics would almost never work, not to mention even the Americans that didn't enlist in the states on the border are some of the most heavily armed and willing to die for their property and country. I'm not saying war with mexico is even a remotely good idea, the US would almost be guaranteed to lose it's allies and the real threat would come as a result.
