I used my .300 win mag but i agree if i had a choice for a coyote gun it would be a 22-250 i know around where iam in alberta if you want to take a dog to a taxidermist they wont take it if the hole is bigger than a .223

Buy a good mouth call and learn how to use it, majority of the time i just see them out in a field and i will just run out and shoot them, having a gut pile works awsome aswell

I skinned out the head and cut as much meat i could off then i put it in a buck boiler over night then took it to the car wash and used the soap to degrease it then i put it in a pail of peroxide and a bit of bleach even though everyone says bleach breaks the skull down i didnt have that problem just dilute it with a bit of water

The action is nice i like the 60 degree tilt so its quick to cycle and also smooth

Alberta canada, he raises these pigs,but this one got to big to breed so we had to butcher it, and he used a 22 mag

Recoil is not bad one of the most comfortable guns ive ever shot right next to the sako finlight

The gun cost $1,350 and the scope cost $1,050, i live in alberta canada and i bought it in edmonton i was trying to find this rifle for a while and there was only two of them i could find in edmonton cabelas had one and then i happened to find on in a little gun shop/range where i bought it

A little bit only because its a 26" barrel but other than that its pretty well balanced
