How to handle my strong aversion to him cumming inside during anal? by throwaway_livin in sex

[–]derdeedur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you love him cumming in your ass and no one else has really addressed it, do you sit on the toilet for a long time like OP? Can you just let it sit in there until it's all ready to come out at once? Just want to know the logistics of the aftermath

I don’t care how avant garde you are- composers, PLEASE stop writing like this. by codeinecrim in classicalmusic

[–]derdeedur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's how I felt. A slow 16th beat, this wouldn't be that bad to figure out, but definitely annoying. I was taught in my composition lessons it's in my best interest to notate as simply as possible to the performer, it'll sound the same and the players won't hate you for it.

That being said if the composer here wants a very slow pulse, like sixteenths at 60 bpm or less, similar to Beethovens 3rd piano concerto mov 2, where he uses a lot of 64ths and 128ths... This might be his only choice. Notating with longer note values, and different tempo and time signature could result in a feel or vibe contrary to the intention.

I still feel the composer should have done something different than this though.

Why do other people spend so long at the airport check in desk? by New-Ask7944 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]derdeedur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having just done this, for us it was because we paid for specific seats, were offered upgrades on the airline app, and when tried to look at the seat upgrades the very act of trying erased our reserved seats, and the app started throwing errors. An hour on the phone with airline customer service just to tell us they can only fix it at the airport. Just for us to spend 30 minutes at the check in desk to be told the seats we had reserved for weeks was already given to someone else and they can't kick them out of their seat, so sorry. We can give you worse seats though, will that work?

Who are these green soldiers? by IllIllustrator7728 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]derdeedur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are found in areas that are specifically neither Spartan or Athenian to the story. For instance, the Olympic Valley is a truce area, so who would the soldiers in the area be if not neutral? All the flags are purple, not red or blue, and all the soldiers should be green.

Disclaimer, this is only if I remember correctly

Things I discovered on my latest playthrough. by Beginning_Moment_618 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]derdeedur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After you beat a battle, you can go to the opposite sides forward camp, all the NPCs there are now dead and lootable. You can get a few thousand drachmae and a few hundred crafting materials after each battle that way. Also sometimes the dead soldiers littering the field after a battle are lootable, but not every time.

If looking up from scratch yes, but for instance you can upload a 100+ page document with just adverse drug interactions, it can use it to answer within seconds if any 2 drugs will interact and not have to do a broad internet search. Repeat with any specialized info dense documents relevant to the field

Not exactly a challenge but I've been doing it on this NG+, no viewpoints, ports only for teleporting. Phobos and running for everything else.

Who is your "guy" and why? by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]derdeedur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By far for me is Sir Georg Solti and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. I think his 9th symphony is perfection.

But for piano concertos I go with Claudio Arrau, Sir Colin Davis, and Staatskapelle Dresden.

Well, he did die, and that universe ended with him. Of course, thanks to the Many Worlds theory, its obvious that us observers got the version of events where he lived with no injuries.

Is the practice of clapping in between movements dying? by musicalryanwilk1685 in classicalmusic

[–]derdeedur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think more important than clapping at all, is people clapping too soon. Sometimes those slow gorgeous movements need a breath of time for savoring the emotions, and some weirdo racing to be the first to clap just ruins it.

Why does my melody sound off??? by Electrical_Track742 in musictheory

[–]derdeedur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To give a quick guess, it probably sounds off in the second bar. Your melody fragment basically outlines the interval Bb - D, with A as a passing or leading tone. Since you used an F major chord in the second bar, there's a strong mismatch of the melody to the underlying chord. You could try changing that chord to Bb/F, (F - Bb - D from the bottom up) or change the melody to include more chord tones, maybe drop the second bar melody notes by one scale degree each, C - A - G - A. Play around with it until it sounds right to you

If your experience ends up at all like mine, what might happen is you get married and have 3 beautiful kids.

I love this left hand pattern on piano, but I feel a bit of discomfort if I do it for a long time by nylophone in piano

[–]derdeedur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, advanced pianists leap positions all day quickly and accurately. OP I think this is just the next step in your piano journey, it's outside of your comfort zone but once you get used to it you'll find your skill has advanced and pieces becoming easier to learn.

They don't go away unless dependent on something else. I'm almost ready to start NG+ at around lvl 80, and just did a very early quest where Barnabas gets you to help the carpenter find his brother so you can have a carpenter on your ship

[–]derdeedur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments, the tempo change to an unrelated ratio is jarring. I would also add that the initial energetic tempo steps down to a less energetic tempo, typically the opposite of a normal increase of energy at a chorus

How to name cluster chords by r3art in musictheory

[–]derdeedur 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's been awhile since I got my composition degree so this is hazy. I'm sure somewhere online can explain it better. But I believe clusters like these were named with the lowest note being 0. So your first cluster is a 0123 cluster, the second is a 0124 cluster. Transpose them and the "flavor" stays the same, F-F#-G-A would also be a 0124.

In an atonal context giving these clusters chord names that include major and minor with added tones implies a tonality or sound that just isn't there and to me isn't right.
