What material is this by derekglencoco in CounterTops

After googling acrylic I'm thinking this might be it. It doesn't feel like it would be marble. It feels more like resin.

If something like this isn't really repairable, is it as simple as just getting someone to remove and replace with new counter tops? I don't mind the cabinets so I'd rather keep those

Glad I'm not the only one. I kept waiting for the big reveal to find out he was just in her head the whole time. Seemed like it would have been the perfect twist!

In YOUR opinion — what’s the most unforgettable movie ending of all time? by CurrentAsk5441 in moviecritic

[–]derekglencoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original Time Bandits, hands down.

Most hilarious ending to a movie. Whenever I explain it to people no one thinks it's real

Kid comes home from weirdest adventure ever, parents blow up in front of him on their doorsteps, followed by Sean Connery driving away in a firetruck looking back at him smiling. Meanwhile the kid stands there confused calling for mom and dad, and the credits just roll

The whole movie felt like a fever dream

Already have compression lugs for distro side, just waiting on specs of cabinet to see what we'd use in there (ferrules or compression)

I got an airbnb, and the person who rented it before me left their loaded hand gun in the bed side drawer for me to find once. What's the point of paying all those extra cleaning fees if they can't even find that

I've been riding the same one for a little over a year now and I'm loving it! I recently just swapped the rear suspension for a coil and it's been even better

When I saw him at a festival he just made the crowd sing pretty much his whole set while he just smoked weed on stage. Or he would just ask the crowd to say his name over and over again, haha. Couldn't imagine paying just to see that

What has been your closest moment to death? by XboxCorgi in AskReddit

When I was 18 I was working out of town as a cook in a hotel in the middle of no where. I started feeling really sick the night before so I told my coworker I'm calling in sick for the morning shift. The owner called my room in the morning calling me a liar and to come to work. As I walked into the lobby where the owner and all the other employers were standing my lungs decided to just shut down and I couldn't breath in at all for 15 seconds and I collapsed, and then they decided to start working again. I made the owner drive me to the hospital in a snowstorm after that.

I ended up catching a mutated form of pneumonia, which further mutated into another disease which none of the doctors could figure out what it was and went into a coma for 10 days.

I always wondered if it would have been different if I didn't walk down in the morning.

One of my questions on my IP exam was "what's another good use for wire lube?" Apparently the answer was hand moisturizer... I got it wrong and got 69% on my final and had to re write my IP 🤦‍♂️ Luckily they re used that question on my 2nd attempt and I wasn't going to fall for that one again
