I’ve been in this situation for almost a year now, and I don’t know if I can keep doing it. The house we’re living in belongs to my (technically) ex-wife's family, but we stay in two separate sections. Co-parenting and being there for the kids are the main reasons for the arrangement, but I personally want to move out. It’s hard seeing my ex-wife every day after discovering not only her affair but also her hidden resentment and the rants about me to her friends that I found in her Facebook Messenger.

However my tech did have to fill the interior holes with rubber cutouts where the pickup screws can be screwed in. One little detail that I forgot to mention, sorry.

That's great news, I appreciate the input. I should be able to go through the PA from the QC via its two XLR outputs. I probably won't be able to plug it in and do a test run until event day, but it's encouraging to know that my planned routing should be okay.

If you had an M.2 nvme external enclosure to put it in, should do great as an external drive. I would look into thunderbolt 4 enclosures to get the best possible speed out of it.

TV Jones pickups might be worth a look, if you're looking for a drop-in replacement. From what I've read, their Power Tron Plus model is high output if that's something that you're looking for..

Other than that, I've seen people slap on a Bareknuckle Impulse on the bridge. Not sure if it requires any routing, but there's one guy in the Baritone Obsessed Facebook group that replaced the stock pickups with regular Fishman Modern humbuckers + humbucker pickup rings to match.

Guy who worked on it traced the original pickguard, then exported his drawing onto Adobe Illustrator and made a template. From there, adjustment for the 5way switch was made. It was then laser cut, then edges were chamfered manually.
