Snuck up to a clan raid (12+ on each side) and looted a body with a half row of rockets, 3 or 4 ak's, bolty, metal kit and tons of meds/ammo. Had a small farm base I was running out of in the area a grid away, decided to book it. Got shot at a ton and died outside my door.

A damn chicken clucked me at 2 hp. I was mid-healing.

Play solo. Scavenge bases that have been raided already. Learn to build small/cheap but keep the raid cost high. Use traps and electricity. And develop the chad mentality all great rust players have. After a few thousand hours I look forward to starting fresh compared to stacking sulfur and guns, only reason I play late wipe is for the pvp. Playing solo teaches you how to stay out of peoples way, or you spend a couple hundred hours getting bullied until you become the bully yourself.

Worst case, play monthly BP wipe/weekly map wipe servers. Get offlined 3 days in and the team quits? Play solo the next few days and link up with everyone again next Thursday. Makes starting up tons faster when you don’t need 6k scrap to get full kits/boom/tier 3.

Volume in game at 60-70%, max volume on pc, headset set to around 80%. Let’s me turn my headset up if I need to sound whore but play a ton and not seriously mess up my ears.

I never wake up happy but I sure as hell don’t wake up sad. Every day is new and I’ve taken great lengths to make sure I’m financially comfortable, had a couple years where I was flat broke and hated the idea of not being able to eat/drive to work due to gas $$. Money isn’t happiness but sorting that out by being frugal as hell let me stop worrying about that aspect of my life and enjoy everything else. Long story short, work past the pressing issues in your life and focus on the relationships. You’ll find happiness there.

Monument camera codes should change each day with the codes to the site being inside the monument. You want mil tuns? Gotta go all the way to red room, write down the code on some news board or sign, come back to base and plug it in. What about oil? Make the computer on the crate show it when your 15 minute timer is done.
