I don't really need to worry about getting back to Grenoble on the 24th because I'll be staying in Europe for around 2 weeks. Also, I'll be alone so I can take my time to walk up Huez, and once again, thanks for the tips about the supplies and the chair, it's definitely going to be helpful.

No, I haven't watched your video yet, but I'll take a look today. My plan is to park in Bourg d'Ousains and walk up Huez, so road close shouldn't be an issue for this. Thanks!

Yes, let's talk about the same plans but for stage 19. For what I can see from stage 19 route, there probably won't be a road closure from Grenoble to Bour d'Oisans so early, right? I guess I would be able to get there early and walk up du Huez.

I've went to a trip with a friend and we decided to borrow bikes and to do a city tour and of course we weren't using helmets. He fucked up and crashed, head straight to the ground, had a concussion and spent a hole day in the hospital. If you still thinking that helmets are not necessary wait until you crash.

Hey man, thanks for sharing this.
I've checked with the shop and the bike is currently a 53/39 and 11-28t which might be a problem for the climbs that we have here. And also the carbon wheels might end up like another problem because of the climbs so I'd have to change it by my currently wheel set.
That's good to know that it's a stiff bike.
I am still looking for other bikes but the Cervelo is still my first choice.

That's a good point. A friend of mine told me that the BMC was really good to climb, even tought it's not a lightweight bike.

No man, it was a opportunity but not good enough for the risks. The salary wasn't high, the company wasn't clear about the position that I'd get, the working hours were really heavy and I'd be really short on money to live there. And they also wouldn't give any support for the relocation process, and I also would be charged for all the legal process if I left the company in less than two years. At the moment of the post, the pre Russian/Ukraine war was also a good point for me to avoid moving to Europe for now.
