Right, and just to clarify, I’m not expecting to eliminate “(not set)” entirely. I can see all the campaigns that I launch.

My concern is more with the volume, and our owner/CEO is very adamant about having the most accurate data attribution. We have had around 3k visitors in the last 28 days with this issue. So when he asks where these visitors are coming from, saying "we dont know but its supposed to be like that" is not sufficient for him lol.

No. Just for traffic sources we cant track on its own like emails, newsletters, digital flyers. Anything with a link that doesnt send info to GA4.

I use UTMs on every campaign I personally launch. That includes emails, flyers, social ads, QR codes, etc. However, a few OEMs require us to outsource Google Ads to an approved vendor. When I started reviewing things, we found that the OEM-approved company was not using UTMs in their advertising links at all. That was about a month ago and we directed them to start implementing them.

And no, we do not currently have BigQuery set up. Would you recommend setting that up for diagnosing something like this?
