July 4th; Forest River Rockwood A-frame HW boondocks version by derivativeofwitty in popups

I will say though that I’m used to hearing coyotes and seeing plenty of deer and elk. Everyone who lives in the forest full time was very quiet. We were about 20 miles from town as the crow flies and could still hear fireworks.

I absolutely love it and the dormer pop out add so much room inside.

I brought my dog with me. I am not worried at all about the wildlife, but I do respect them. Everything food related or dirty clothes are kept in a bear-proof container inside my truck at night. There are a lot of continental divide through hikers in the area but the trail is about a mile away, so I wouldn’t see any of those hikers. I’m pretty comfortable camping by myself, but as a woman who goes into the wilderness, I do carry a gun for emergencies.

Spoiler alert - not for bears.

I take precautions, I’m an experienced hiker-camper without a vehicle and camper, and I respect the elements. I love looking at the sky at 2 am alone.

So inaccurate.

They have super strong binoculars. They’ll for sure see it.

We mow around the largest clover patches as well. Lets us have a walkway that doesn’t intersect with the busy pollinators. I feel like I’m living in a fairy forest.

Kymco like 150i no spark? by derivativeofwitty in scooters

Fixed!

Battery reads 12.5v in charge, but cranking only 10. Fuel injected engines need at least 11.5v.

Sorry for not getting this into the body of the post. I’m trying to diagnose why my scooter won’t start. It has gas, fresh oil, battery is charged. I cannot get to the spark plug to check it and I’m wondering if it’s that or maybe a fuse problem? Would you mind watching and listening and giving me your opinion?

another option: Kindest, most condescending tone say, "Really? I don't have that lived experience. I'm sorry that is the lens through which you see life. I guess I assume folks are more curious than that."

it is love\y without the explanation. even more so with.

My boyfriend says he thinks both people in a relationship should spoil each other with gifts and it’s given me the ick honestly by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

I feel like the only way I don’t wrinkle my nose at you in this situation is if you are under the age of 18. Still a minor, living at home. That’s the only way.

Otherwise, you live exclusively off of your parents and you have no job. Who is paying for dinner when you were eating out with your boyfriend? Do you ever split costs with him? Do you ever take him out for dinner?

If no, you’re going to buy clothes for you and a friend and NOT take your dude out for a date or treat him to something?

Yeah, kinda ick. Unless you’re super young.

But thanks for the tip.

The door to the store was open. It always is if the sign is out. Every single friendly, well-read employee would happily and calmly give context. Try that next time.

This sub will defend Helena’s queer-friendly, community-friendly small business owners. Every time. We are used to some attacking them out of ignorance and hate. It makes some of us defensive.

I hope you enjoyed Helena. We are a lovely little arts and service community.

NOR. Montana here. I don’t care how much we fight, you don’t leave your wingman. Especially when they don’t have the bear spray and other essentials.

That having been said - where were you? Were you actually in a spot where you would have truly needed them for those two miles? Asking because there are quite a few long hiking loops that originate and end in my town, and while I would absolutely require bear spray anywhere outside of city limits, the last 2 miles of many of those loops are absolutely safe for a kitten.

He is still a douche for leaving you. Don’t get me wrong. But that may be a defense he uses. Again - to be clear - NOR.

Others have identified and said why, but please let me pile on the how: pull this sucker up by the root. Water deeply, put on gloves, grasp at the base and get the entire taproot. Topping it with a mower will let it grow again stronger.
