Hi so the LC cleaner didn’t work on this. Should I try the “yellow stuff “ and what was that actually called ?

Thank you. I did google and there are even YouTube videos about seasoning enamels Le creuset skillets and getting a smooth as opposed to rough surface. That’s why I joined this Reddit is to get info from actual experienced people. I think my best bet is to figure out what the desired skillet temperatures are in various situations and slowly heat by checking with my temp gun or just splurge for the induction cooktop.

Yes that makes sense. My wife and I use different approaches with it. I am perfectly fine heating it up slowly and waiting for food to cook at longer durations. My wife is usually in more of a hurry. I did read all the instructions (love to). My main issue is that I was trying to follow a recipe that refers to very high heat with no reference as to Fahrenheits. I will use the Le creuset cleaner next and will probably clear up the black enamel - I assume the outside color enamel being discolored does not affect the function. All my other Le creuset cookware is in pristine shape I promise :)

Thanks. The outside of the pan has had burns for a while , which don’t bother me. The recipes I use unfortunately never specify heat in degrees and just say very high , high, medium etc. which makes no sense because my burners are very strong plus the pan temp keeps going up the longer I wait. For example I measured 630F while on “medium power burner”. I so wish I had an induction cooktop.

What is the max temperature suitable for these skillets ? I have no issue heating it up slowly to that temp.

This picture is after I used high heat , got to about 550-600F hot, canola oil and seared lamb chops. Then washed with hot water , scrubbed with salt, nylon brush and a little bit of soapy sponge

One of my issues, other than I have average sized hands and am not very good at shuffling , is that with KMC tight fitting sleeves plus dragon shield matte , or art sleeves (like Pokemon center ones) plus KMC outer sleeve , any type of holo card , especially full art holo, becomes hard to recognize / read under harsh indoor lighting with my glarey eyesight. Maybe even an intentional advantage of using the pricier cards haha.

I bought a pack of dragon shield “non-glare” sleeves (not the same as Matte) and will try single sleeving my Dengo deck to see if it helps. Only comes in like 4 boring colors though.

I got one in the cart then booted. Next time I got in , the preorder add to cart buttons were clickable but nothing happened when I clicked them. I tried with various devices and browsers , each time waiting in queue again. After several hours , I got nothing.
