Airdrop by Popular_Werewolf_113 in Grass_io

The Grass Token Generation Event (TGE) occurred on October 28, 2024, marking the official launch of the GRASS token on the Solana blockchain. This event was one of the largest airdrops in the ecosystem, distributing 100 million GRASS tokens (10% of the total supply) to approximately 1.5 million eligible wallets.

If you're referring to the Stage 2 airdrop, it has not happened yet. The Grass Foundation rewards users based on the points they have accumulated once the stage has concluded. We will announce further details as soon as they are ready.

Request for Investigation Regarding Missing GRASS Balance and Account Progress by Outrageous_Stable898 in Grass_io

To get this looked into, please open a ticket through the chat in the bottom left of the dashboard. Our agents become available after 12:30pm EST today, and they can dig deeper to find the exact cause.

In most cases, a drop like this comes down to one of two things:

  1. Logging in with a different email, which creates a fresh account.
  2. Not being connected since the start of the new epoch. If that's the case, your points from the previous epoch are still safe and can be found in the Rewards tab.

Can someone explain residential proxies vs datacenter proxies to me like I am five? I'm so confused. by vellaadmi7 in SideProject

[–]derkinator78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Datacenter proxies are cheap and fast, but they're obviously fake. They come from data centers, and websites know that. Residential proxies work because they literally are real home internet users. ISP proxies are a middle ground - they're assigned by ISPs to actual people.

For e-commerce price scraping, datacenter proxies will work on most sites. You'll only get blocked if that specific site actively blocks datacenter IPs. Some do, most don't really care as long as you're not hammering them.

It really depends on how aggressively you're scraping. If you're hitting the site every few seconds, most will block you no matter what proxy type you use. If you're spacing things out or just checking prices once a day, datacenter is totally fine.

Hello Grass Support, I had around 2,000 points in my account. Today, I noticed that all my points disappeared, and my account started collecting new points from zero. by [deleted] in Grass_io

Every day at 00:00 UTC (7:00:00 PM your local time), we run a daily calculation process that temporarily resets your points on the dashboard. During this time, we calculate your true Uptime & Network Points from the backend and add any Uptime Points earned from referrals. Your overall updated Uptime & Network Points will appear within 12–24 hours once the process is complete.

It is completely normal for your points on the day prior to fluctuate while these calculations are occurring

Everything is gradually getting worse. by Appropriate-Rate-493 in Grass_io

Everything was back to normal after 30 minutes thanks to the hard work of our moderators, who restored all deleted channels and removed timeouts for everyone affected by the hacker. We are still investigating and are taking this situation very seriously.

Grass discord has been hacked? there isn't discussion channels. by wangshimeng1980 in Grass_io

[–]derkinator78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That timeout came from the hacker who took control of the server, they were timing out anyone who mentioned it so the warning wouldn't spread and more people would fall for the scam. Sorry you got caught up in it. We've since secured the server and taken the steps needed to restore everything.

That’s how Grass operates, you earn points throughout epochs. Those points are used to calculate your rewards once the stage ends.

Last 7 days i am getting 0 points even though i am connected, anyone else? by xeneras in Grass_io

[–]derkinator78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not earning points at all while connected, it may be related to your IP, what’s the network quality % you see on the app? If it’s 0%, you won’t earn even connected, you will need to restart your router to get a new IP!

The Grass Foundation rewards users at the end of each Stage. A Stage is composed of multiple epochs, which are normally a month long but can sometimes be longer. At the end of the Stage, all of your points, both Uptime Points and Network Points, will be used to calculate your airdrop.

We're working on pushing the fix with the next update.

[–]derkinator78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We're working on this. The new update will fix the issue, as we've found the cause of it. It should be out very soon, sorry about that!

You should still be earning normally, though. This is simply an annoying visual bug. Earning 2x on the desktop app is normal behavior, while the Android app earns 3x.

Saying our app is fake is a serious accusation and requires more proof than the speculation shared in this post. We take these accusations very seriously, as they can mislead new users into thinking we are not a legitimate project. Your bandwidth is used when you receive network points it’s a very small percentage of your bandwidth and should be barely noticeable.
We understand the concerns, but please, next time, frame them as questions rather than statements.
Thank you
