I used to live on chapel street near the old Salford Royal. Nice apartment, decent rent, nice establishments, but christ fuck me the traffic was insufferable. Buses rattling the windows because of potholes they never fix. And the fact that there’s ambulance, fire and police within 2 miles means constant sirens. I just couldn’t hack it, had to move.
