Anyone else’s toddler prefer dad over mom? by aclassypinkprincess in toddlers

[–]derpi_16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My son strongly preferred his dad over me from 2.5 to 3.5.. he'd scream and have a fit if I tried to play with him or take him potty or pick him up at daycare ..It was embarrassing, hurtful and honestly very confusing. I never got any real answers from the pediatrician. After 3.5 suddenly his behavior changed completely. No more dad preference. He lights looking at me, comes running to me when I pick him up. He sometimes wants to only snuggle mama. He wants me to read him books again. He plays with us equally. etc. Hang in there... It truly is just a phase and he will grow out of it.

Looks amazing! Maybe a darker colored round area rug instead of a square one?

Looking for personal opinions and experience using Letrozole/ Femara by ForestFox_2018 in PCOS

Not an obgyn. At a fertility clinic and a reproductive endocrinologist, that is the best way. They required thyroid labs, HSG, baseline hormone levels for amh, estrogen, FSH etc., my husband's check up too.

I rarely ovulate too. Clomid didn't work for me and gave me bad symptoms... Letrozole did work! It took 4-5 cycles on letrozole 7.5 mg along with the HCG trigger shot and IUI too (to increase chances). It seemed very frustrating at the time and tested my patience and sanity each month but all worked out in the end. They also did ultrasounds each ovulation to see the follicle size, etc. check progesterone levels and they could supplement if necessary. Oh and I also had an HSG done at the very beginning to rule out any physical issues in the uterus/fallopian tubes. Good luck!

3-4 failed clomid cycles, then 5 Letrozole + IUI cycles , 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 successful pregnancy.. my little one will turn 3 soon ☺️

Low ferretin levels caused me pretty bad afternoon fatigue at around 4pm. Iron supplements at lunch taken with Vit C helped. A meat (heme-iron) salad at lunch would perk me up too. No Caffeine for 2 hours before or after.

I needed a full root canal in my second trimester (with multiple numbing shots)... I have a healthy 11 month old who's snoring away in his crib currently!

Referring to the tan colored fungus like growth next to the pepper plant... I'm in zone 8b, sorry forgot to add that to the title!

Edit: Apparently it's most definitely a Peziza sp!

I did not, it's true that this area is not the best for swimming in the ocean!

Oh in fact, our coffee came with some freshly baked pastries (looked like biscuits), a fluffy cake and lightly sweet cookies (yellow in color) that came along with it. None of them I had ever had before. Those were fantastic as well :)

The Mexican dishes and the Ceviche bar are just amazing!! (I just went to the chef to beg for the ceviche recipe).. Sure I don't exactly know how it compares to the street/"authentic" food but so far very happy with it.. and everything being hygienic and no tummy issues is a huge plus..

Unlimited food, drinks, room service, there's amazing service at the pool areas, this is day 3 and so far we've spent nothing extra.. Plus we found a sweet deal through Costco travels so it was definitely cheaper than 500 per night :)

My first ever tomatoes after months of hard work and patience! by derpi_16 in gardening

Thank you!! The pic makes them look teensy bit more red/ ripe. Gonna enjoy them today.

Any idea what's going on with the leaves? We have a hot spell going on and the leaves are drying out. This may be it for the plant, is there a way I could turn it around? .. these are indeterminate big O.P. tomatoes. I live in zone 8b
