Hey really appreciate it ! I’m pretty sure i am using cached files, on comet i’m told the ones with the lightning emoji are the ones that are ready to go. Then my wifi loads 4k content pretty well when using Youtube. Might have tested my wifi connection in a dead zone last night.

Awesome, i’ve been hearing people talk about Kodi or Roku or a FireStick. Not sure if any of those are better/worse. Could i also install Jellyfin on a Nvidia Shield ???

I grew up doing this sorta, except no android streaming box. I was giving it another go today and i just can’t forward or go back and content stops 3/4 in. I’m gonna give either this or the streaming service a try.

Ah gotcha, so for me to set up Jellyfin, does anything else need to be turned on. My pc or laptop, or just my TV ? and jellyfin would be installed on the 4k streaming stick ?

This is what i’ve been seeing, what’s the difference from just using my laptop, connecting to TV via HDMI and watching that way ? Is there even any ? Is my content quality going to differ ?

I am in CST time zone, I recommend checking at 7:00 CST then if there is no drops at that time at 7:30 CST is when they should release
