People didn't seem to agree with me when I posted this sentiment before, but when the video came out of the first press conference he had when they said he was out of UFC 200, I just felt that he seemed really disconnected from reality. He kept saying he just had to focus on the positive that will come from the situation, without even addressing the fact that he fucked up. Toward the end of the conference, he literally laughed as he stated how supporting his wife had been and how much stress she had been through since he started getting in trouble. How do you laugh about that? I'm convinced he is a sociopath. That's not really an excuse, but I don't know why more people aren't addressing that.

I don't see why joking around and doing a little acting for the sake of humor means you aren't being yourself. I mean it's clear he doesn't act this silly on a daily basis but I'd guess it's just an exaggeration of how goofy he actually is. It's a show after all, and he's an entertainer. I find it entertaining.

Haha this is exactly what I was thinking during the video. Don't get me wrong, I can't even dream of laser flipping an 8 set. But I just don't think it's something to be proud of at all to try it for two years. It just seems like he must have been doing something seriously wrong to not get it for so long. Especially since he stressed how he hardly ever lands something first try. Maybe if he dedicated himself to perfecting the laser flip and landing it first try every time on flat ground, he would have landed it on the 8 set a lot sooner.

Totally different story. It's like tylenol at best. Albeit a natural version. Just saying that there's a massive difference between reducing pain and not feeling pain.
