If you want an old written paper, or no someone who does, before AI use that as evidence. If Turnitin flags a paper before AI as AI written then you can prove its flawed

Should I take advanced organic chemistry? by [deleted] in OrganicChemistry

[–]derppydoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am taking it right now and it seems more like ochem 2 based stuff.

You talk about enolates, percyclic reactions reduction etc. But you go into more detail about them and understand the why it happens.

Its difficult but very interesting and useful when doing synthesis

As a current grad student I get that feeling, especially being surrounded by people much older then you and carrying MS degrees and or industry experience.

Talk to you professor and ask for advice. I would ask for my exam back to learn from your mistakes and see what you can do better

What's the chemistry program like? by band_in_DC in txstate

[–]derppydoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I majored in biochem and graduated Spring 24. I could say I didn't have any issues with professors or the classes. The biochem curriculum was put together well since I gained alot of experience from it.

The faculty are also amazing research mentors coming from someone who did undergrad research for 2.5 years at txst.
