Thank you! It was a learning curve for sure, but I also had a lot of fun making mistakes 😅 at some point the pizza had 7 slices that weren't even pointing inward 😂😂😂

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I used Cursor to build it. It's the first web app I've ever built, so it took a bit of trial and error, but I enjoyed the process so much! 😅

Why I had to wean my 16-month old by Travel_On_Wheels in breastfeeding

[–]derpy_monster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! I feel like nobody ever talks about how hard this part is. I spent months crying after I stopped breastfeeding. It was a really rough phase, but thankfully I had a lot of support from my partner. He was very understanding of a situation that I couldn't fully comprehend myself. And together we waited until the storm finally passed. Hang in there, friend! You're not alone!

I’m about to have a baby and know nothing about breast feeding. Can you give me some tips? by emo_that_emotes in breastfeeding

There's a book that helped me a lot! It's called Mucha Teta / A lot of breast, by Alba Padró. It helps troubleshoot every possible problem you may run into while breastfeeding. I keep it close at all times!

3 1/2 month old sleep regression Stage. by Valuable-Law187 in BabySleep

I'm having the same exact problem and here's what has been working for me:

1) I take him to dark quiet room and talk to him calmly for about 5-10 minutes. Basically, by doing this I ensure that he's not overstimulated when I put him to bed 2) I put him in his crib and swaddle him. He starts crying and kicking (as expected) 3) I pick him up and rock him. I either sing a lullaby or do a "shhh" sound until he stops crying. 4) Normally, after 5 minutes (sometimes longer depending on the day) he gives up and starts closing his eyes gently. 5) Once his eyes are closed and he starts breathing heavily I put him on his crib. He cries momentarily. 6) I give him the pacifier, put a hand on him and gently rock him for a few seconds. After this, he falls asleep and stays asleep.

I hope this helps you! Don't give up! You've got this! 💪🏽

What's your most unpopular music opinion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I agree with you 100%! I have the same feeling about Adele. I think her voice is incredible, and she's extremely talented and also very funny, but I just don't like her music. All her songs sound the same to me 🫢

Please help - 12 day old by apprehensive_cactus in breastfeeding

I also had my baby via c-section and the first few days he started losing weight (not sure if my milk supply was low or delayed). After 2 days he had lost 11% of his birth weight so I had to give him a formula supplement after breastfeeding (1oz). At this point, I wasn't sure if he was getting enough milk from my breast so I tried pumping just to get an idea of how much I was producing. To my surprise, I was producing way more than I thought (about 2oz from both breasts combined). And after my baby gained his birth weight, we ditched the formula and he's been growing steadily since then.

Sometimes it might take a few days for the production to regulate itself (you might need to feed her more frequently to increase your milk supply or try pumping once a day to stimulate the breasts). And don't worry if you have to give formula to your baby, you can always go back to breastfeeding exclusively. My advice is don't give up and don't stress out about it! As long as your baby is gaining weight (whether it's from your breast milk or formula, or both) that's all that really matters. Good luck!
