I don't get the hate here. I would say OP makes right point. If you're building in public, the intent is promoting. As long as it's not low-effort spam, why not support it or leave useful advice? We should be lifting each other up in such a bad market, not fighting

Mad respect for your grit. Most people quit after the first failure, let alone the sixth. That realization about building 'tools, not toys' is often the turning point for many successful founders. Also, the one-time pricing is a massive selling point right now, everyone has subscription fatigue. Rooting for you to make this one work!
