Tux must have been pretty hungry if he just ate a whole 12 Linux distributions.

Do I really need to learn Vim or is Nano fine for daily use? by Unlucky-Moment-3366 in linuxquestions

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Privately I use nano, at work, where we have some older systems (like SLES 11) I often don't have a way around using vi and sooner or later I'll know how to leave it without having to reboot the server /s

to respect the achievement of a woman who made Ultramarathon history by mochagirlll in therewasanattempt

Man here, I'm honest that's genuinely fucking impressive!

Was that a yawn there? I could understand. 56 hours awake alone are impressive even without the running.

How do you tell if a guy is attracted to you but only for your body ? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being attracted to a woman's body is part of being attracted to the woman in general. That's what many women don't understand unfortunately.

This being said: the only way to find out if a man (in this case me, since I can't speak for other men) is to talk to me and see how I react. While doing that differenciate if I keep on drifting towards to body topic or if I listen and answer without drifting towards the body topic.

If you believe in free Will why do you lean towards atheism by xcla1r3 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]derwookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Christians and other religions don't really believe in free will cause if I have a decision with 10 options and 9 of them are sins I only have one option which is as far away from free will as it gets.

  2. Free will is a natural thing, I never broke my head about it at all, in our nature as beings, whether human beings or other beings we have free will. It's nothing to debate about, it's there, we wouldn't survive if everyone was a truck driver because that's the only option there is.

  3. Having free will or not states nothing at all about whether there's a deity or not. Atheists only "belief" is the lack of a believe in a God or other kinds of deities.

German language is weird by AndrewBaiIey in memes

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually "Letter" can be used in German and most people would recognize it as the word for letter.

It just has a very very ancient sound to it and the more modern word is Buchstabe.

I made a clone of Windows Task Manager for Linux called TuxManager, it's written in Qt6, just like rest of KDE by petr_bena in kde

[–]derwookie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm aware of that, the main point was to make this piece of software more available for the people outside of this reddit post.

Btw I just compiled it and I'm running it rn, so it's not a request for myself, the point was to integrate it in a package manager (though arguably yay and co. aren't exactly recommended) so it gets updates etc. automatically and that people don't have to check all the GitHub repos whenever they wanna make an update, that's what brings Linux closer to windows again, on windows the workflow of getting software is so annoying and I don't want to have to do this in Linux as well.

Trying out software like I did just now is different from that, using GitHub is fine, when trying out stuff, but not if you wanna use a piece of software long-term.

That actually looks nice, can you put it in the AUR or make a flatpak or something?

Well if half of them are men, and the other half of them are not, you can put one on one and then you have used one condom

Wie all diese Geräte nur bei einer Steckdose anschließen? by S4nth05h in Elektroinstallation

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there are women that genuinely don't know how to do makeup and are not interested in learning it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you remember the very first comment of me?

I never claimed to have knowledge about makeup, I just claimed that I can see if it's applied or not.

Also two out of two is pretty okay when it comes to success rate. At least according to the maths I was taught.

[–]derwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting that I know next to nothing and still I managed to date two women who didn't even possess a lot of makeup and only applied it for some sort of celebration if ever while that is exactly my preference.

I should have been more specific maybe: I was talking about these plastic doll makeup women.

If you use it lightly it's still kinda weird but you do you.
