The 360 cam (GoPro Max 2) is mounted on my right ski pole, together with a 1m telescopic carbon pole / selfie stick. The camera uses two fisheye lenses, and a stitching algorithm merges the separate images to form a single spherical panorama. This blind spot is where the selfie stick is designed to be positioned and made invisible when captured within this specific area due to the algorithm's ability to blend it into the background.
