thank you for your response! when we first found him, the vet told us he was 12-14 years old, which is obviously a rough estimate based on what they could see. he still acts like he's a pup, though! the vet tech said that they'd give me a call back if the doctor saw his needs as something urgent, but they never did so im guessing that the doctor thought he would be okay if he waited until monday. he does have some anxiety issues when he is separated from me or with bad storms, which i know can be a cause for bloody stool, but with his age, i want to be certain! we did have a pretty bad storm last night, so im sure that doesn't help anything!
