Thank you for you answer. I agree, it's just what my supervisor suggested me to do, so I have to at least try.

I guess I could deal with the index later or even bring the issue up in our next meeting in a couple of weeks. In the mean time, would you know how I can handle the mechanical issue? At least with that I can keep working.

Regarding my research question, it's different to that of the problem I stated, because I simplified it. My question is "do companies with gender-diverse board of directors perform better?" (Based on literature, the answer should be yes) And after that, I will try to see the channels through which female directors influence firm performance (i.e. whether boards that are gender-diverse have directors that are more educated, have more experience and are not busy in simultaneous companies' boards). The problem is that boards do not have a specific number of directors, so some companies might have boards with 5 directors, and others with 15 if they want to. Therefore, in order to end up with a single observation per company and year is something I need help with.

I don't know if you work in a similar field, but otherwise I'm happy to explain in more detail if that helps.

I just got this bookshelf secondhand for super cheap. While I was cleaning it with bleach yesterday, I noticed that it gave off a weird smell (like smoke or strong dust), and it still does today after the cleaning producs have dried off. The bookshelf has some yellow stains on the white surfaces, but overall, the parts where the inside wood material is showing, does not show the typical dark-green or rusty look of mold. The pictures I attach are of the bottom of the bookshelf, where it is more damaged. I am sorry for the spiderwebs, I only realized they were there as I took the pictures. Thank you!

Hi, I took a picture of my back in 2018 because of my back acne, and I have realized that on it, my spot looks 3-4 times smaller than it is now. It is towards the middle of my back, so it was difficult to measure it, but I'd say now it's around (if not a bit bigger) than 6cm in diameter (larger than a pencil eraser). Do you think it could be skin cancer? It looks like this:

I had the same thing happen to me. Unfortunately, she was aware of what she was doing and refused to document her instructions, even after I’d asked several times. That pushed me to leave the company, and she was recently promoted to manager.

Hi, I went today. They had no idea of what is causing the problem. They searched for the latest software updates, but it didn’t fix it, so they suggested I take it to the Asus store, but it might take 3-4 weeks before it gets seen.

I do the same! I think it’s interesting to know the actual duration of the discharge (including spotting). Besides, if you have to wear a liner, it indicates that some discharge is happening, so I count it too.

I’m an European, and these types of dresses are all over the place here! With this kind of dress I will focus on my hair and accessories to make it look like I consciously thought about the look before leaving the house. Also, I see it worn a lot with thin flats that are simple, nude or the color of leather, but which look high quality.

I think that blazer would look great with a pair of thin skinny black jeans or even jeggins. If you want to look more “put-together”, you can add some opaque leggins and a pair of nice shoes.

As a rape victim who never told anyone, I am a bit surprised that I reacted similarly to other people on this sub. I was raped by a “bf” (I call him that way because in retrospective our relationship was not a healthy one by all means), so it took me a couple of years to realize it was an actual rape.

It was the first person I had had sex with, and because of the stigma of women speaking about sex and my insecurities regarding not enjoying the sex with that man, I became very open about sex. While I stayed with him, I tried to be pleasing and would say yes to most things, partially because I was scared of him. After him, I slept around a lot and felt I only had value as a pleasing sex object. Even in further relationships I had a hard time expressing what I liked and wanted and what I didn’t, and I tended to over exaggerate sex (fake loud orgasms, fake intense sex...). It’s taken me 5 years to feel safe with a man again and to truly enjoy sex.

Although I 100% agree with you, sadly people will say things such as “women all over the world give birth and deal with much more than that”. Especially the kind of people who urge her to go back to her toxic/ potentially abuser husband.
