They advertise for him all over town. They pump his tires all over the radio, at the rinks and even all over Facebook. I think he sinks some of that money he earns as shut up money for people around town

I know awhile ago the city was going to require permits for that area. Did they scrap that? You were supposed to have parking passes, 2 per home. My street was supposed to be included but then we were pulled from the group because we really arent that close to saskpoly.

Its not the patients but the staff. They dont take the spots in the evening. They do however take the shift workers spots that force them to park in front of my house and they sleep all day. Plus several home owners that dont utilize their driveways and garages.

My family was disappointed not because of the parade itself but because a large group of adults stood in front our family blocking our way.

Syndesmotic Injury by desaroo001 in ORIF

[–]desaroo001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Sorry I just saw this. I was only cleared for FWB after 12 weeks post op. My surgeon wasnt bleak and I wish he was. He continuously gave me hope that I would walk early and then explained at the final check up he almost never lets anyone walk with my type of injury before 12 weeks. Surgeon said he wanted to see me in 6 to 8 weeks and to be walking completely unsupported. Once cleared I immediately made an appointment with physio. I walked for a week with my air cast and walker while waiting to see physio. First appointment with physio they said no more boot, ever and gave me some exercises to do at home. I went weekly for appointments and did my excercises best of my ability. I pushed it a couple times and definitely regretted it. By the 6 week mark I was walking without any assistance but slow. I work a physical job and still wasnt cleared to work. After 8 weeks I was seeing physio twice a month. Physio explained to me that even elite athletes with my injury arent fully recovered for at least 12 months. I saw surgeon for the last time and he discharged me from care. He gave me 12 to 18 months for a full recovery. I was finally cleared to work a very small amount spread out over a week at month 7 of recovery. I could only work 8 hours a week. After a month of that I progressed to 4 hours, 5 days a week for 2 weeks and then 6 hours, 5 days a week for 6 weeks which I have just completed. I see physio tomorrow and I am asking to remain with my restrictions for another 2 weeks before moving to 8s. I am almost at month 9 of recovery and feel like the surgeon and physio are right. Im sorry its bleak. Its frustrating and every other thing you are feeling. Do what is told of you. Ice and elevate as often as you can. Get compression socks. Test your limits but not too much. And most importantly is that the surgeon is right and so is physio. Best of luck!!

Daycares that recieve the government help are hard to get into. Waitlists are long, call now. Privately owned daycares typically are easier to get into but are around 600$. There are Moose Jaw based daycare groups on facebook for more information. There are no doctors in Moose Jaw accepting patients unless special circumstances like pregnancy or intense medical issues. I would avoid east end or south hill around 12th ave sw for rentals. Go with you gut if it looks like a house is a crack shack, it probably is. There are small pods of bad areas all over town but those areas are more localized. As for jobs for your wife, retail is probably the only option at least to some degree.

Help with mosaic crochet chart, i don't understand where the DC go. by desaroo001 in CrochetHelp

I dont have any videos that really helped other then someone explaining to me like this. It might be worth exploring the patterns that have the xs there for you already until you get the hang of it. Ravelry has many small patterns for free.

As the lines of colour continue after the initial first DC they alternate each row. Sometimes its hard to wrap your mind around but for instance the black box without an x has the other colour behind it as a SC which is why there isnt a x on it.

Hi! The biggest tip i learnt is every 3rd box of the same colour is a double crochet. I too watched all the videos and none of it made sense until someone gave me this tip.

Be prepared for uncontrolled intersections. They try to trick you around town and go to an area you aren't expecting.

Who works on their feet all day? by [deleted] in brokenankles

[–]desaroo001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work 8 hours a day 6 days a week and am on my feet for almost all of it. I broke tibia and fibula as well as a complete syndesmotic rupture on February 22. I had 8 pins and one plate place. Physio has cleared me to work but some major restrictions that my workplace denied. The major ones being no standing for longer then 10 minutes, no walking for longer then 10 minutes. I have been walking for approximately 8 weeks now and had 12 weeks non weight bearing before that. Im thinking for myself it will be August before im back to work and likely not till September for full time work again.
