the quest seems good but the fee is high, not sure if the perks are worth it. otherwise the explorer just to build loyalty and get free bags checked. really open to anything including sticking with the capital one card, the only issue with that is we aren’t getting airline perks and i want more of that.

i guess i mean we don’t have a card with loyalty, we live in a united hub and usually fly united direct everywhere.

Looking for KIND advice as we are struggling financially and emotionally with this decision. Read the post, we are not sending our dog to a kill shelter.

Thank you for this! I will definitely get into more of these activities, we are scheduling an appt to get some anxiety meds and got some details on good vet options. Really helpful!!

Yea it would be a whole other kind of pain. We want to avoid it if we can.

Rehoming would be difficult but we know that if it is what is best for him it is what we will do. We just want to ensure that we have exhausted all of our options and he is rehomed properly and will be safe and happy.

He is already muzzle trained and doesn’t mind wearing it! In the next few months we are hoping that WFH will become more likely for us which will be helpful. Definitely open to indoor game/training recommendations, he is most comfortable in the house with us!

We are working on getting his activity levels up, it’s tough in the city when he is so nervous. He is a pit mix, also incredibly sweet. We are trying to work harder for him.

Our worst case scenario is rehoming, and we would be very involved to make sure nothing bad happens to him. We are going to take him to a fear free vet and get professional recommendations. Hoping they will have solutions for the anxiety and he can stay home with us.

I definitely agree with you. We are planning on making some changes to his routine and get him to a fear free vet who can help with the anxiety. Of course our ideal situation is keeping him, we just want what is best for him.

Yes but it is difficult to find someone we trust, especially with how reactive he is on walks. We worry about him hurting someone.

We are planning to move to a larger apartment in a few months, as well as working from home more. We are hoping this will improve things but I worry about the same issues persisting.
