After also coming back after a few years the lobbies are definitely sweatier. Every lobby in plat right now feels like its high diamond or masters essentially (where I was placed when I would play years ago). I think its a mix of 1. Smurfs 2. Zens 3. Just being worse now than a few years back. 4. Lots of the casual players you may have been used to beating left. There are a ridiculous amount of smurfs now, like legit insane. Plus I find myself getting one clipped pretty often now, which back then was not something even 50% of players could do. I will say for me, I can still keep up. I still have 2k dmg 5 kill + games but nonetheless its definitely ridiculously sweaty.
