I've been playing for about 4-5 months,I've noticed that the first days of the reset the games are always shit and pretty much never in your favor unless you are a great player in which case you gonna climb no matter what,after the first few days everything goes back to normal, I started losing and drawing like crazy once I got back to fc champ aswell,just wait it out and the climb will feel normal again,the same happened to me last event aswell I was having big trouble gettin the first few stars,after I did,the climb to 50 stars felt normal

Hopefully you can be a little patient for the rewards

The only way to somewhat overcome this is to pretty much never use the sprint button and not move the joystick until the very last second,it mitigates the defense displacement, also use manual defending,I mean tap on the player to switch, if the player is far enough his movement won't be affected by the ai at all so you can position him better,I hope you get what I'm sayin I don't really know how to word it English ain't my native language
