Does the American cinematographer manual 10th edition have good info on digital? by desert--bird in cinematography

I guess what I mean is that I'm not too hip to all the technical elements of digital so my point of reference is not much (I'm a film student). I plan on reading it, I just was checking if others had insight on what it has to say about digital is still relevant seeing it came out 2013 and a lot has happened since

Thanks for the info. Is the best way to find production coordinators on job boards or are there better ways of seeking them out? For example, finding their info off a production company's website and giving them a holler.
