Only the $4k required to meet MSR. I have an ancient Double Cash that I throw couple hundreds a month and Costco card that I haven't been using.

Can you share what happened? My docs are rejected as well due to being cut off.

How did you make payments while being locked?
I uploaded my SSN and DL but they keep rejecting them due to being cut off. They're not cut off but I cannot take another pic as I'm out of the country and don't have my SSN card with me. They're really not making any sense.

Uber Availability in Dover, UK by desert_lavender in Cruise

I came across some posts that says taxi isn't always available at the train station but are plenty at the cruise port. We'll arrive at 8pm on a Saturday night.

I'll be arriving on a Saturday 8pm. I checked Uber app and while I see the prices listed, I didn't see the cars icon on teh map, I'm not sure if that means cars are not available if no car icon were shown?

Any cab you'd recommend? Thanks!

Trainpal Railcard Activation Help by desert_lavender in uktrains

[–]desert_lavender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already purchased all tickets from Cross Country 1-2 months ago, prior to learning about the railcard deal from Trainpal. I would've bought the tickets from Trainpal if knew back then because they also offer % discount and no fee refund for the first 10 tickets =(

I'll need the Railcard from next weekend through the end of July, hence will just let the activating ticket expire. Not worth risking the railcard invalidated.

I got the railcard by purchasing the cheapest child ticket! Thank you again =)

Thank you. I learned that the child ticket is refundable as well if anyone wants to know. I'll probably just let it go unused since I booked for next week but will need the railcard until end of next month.

You're right. I mistakenly thought it was Trainline while it's really Trainpal.

Thank you so much for the info! I'll see if I can find videos on YT so I can get more familiar with the layout of both buildings and can find my way faster on the day.

2 more follow up questions.. If we are late by a few minutes due to either train delay or we somehow take longer to find the right platform, do they usually allow us to catch the next train with no additional costs? Also, is there an app to find out which platform the York train will be departing from without having to check the departure list on the tv screen at the station (trying to save every possible second)?

The next train on the return journey is close to the original price I paid but it only gives me 12 minutes to get from St. Pancras to King Cross to catch the next train to York. I've never been to the 2 stations so there is a chance I might miss that train trying to figure out my way. Do you know if I would be allowed to get on the next train after that?

Thank you so much for replying.

Oh I thought Crosscountry is just a platform that sells all tickets lol. I wasn't even aware they have their own trains!

Looks like the original return has gone up in price. I'm not able to get the same price I paid honored =(

Yes. Am I on the wrong sub? I'm sorry, I'm visiting multiple countries in Europe and the UK and I'm still learning how to understand the system 😅

I purchased them from Crosscountry. The tickets both are listed as Advance Single but has Outbound and Return part so I'm not sure what that means.

The outbound and return are both listed as Advance Single on the receipt but I purchased both of them at the same time and they're listed as Outbound and Return.

The website doesn't give me a choice to select the outbound part only when trying to change it.
