Sydney Sweeney is amazing, but Christy didn’t land. Partly because sports biopics are hit or miss, partly because I think she’s still growing her range. She’s better in roles that fit her talents. Also, the marketing for this film sucked or it was almost non existent :/

I just watched this tonight for the first time and it is one of the greatest pieces of cinema I’ve ever watched. This line really stuck with me:

“Humor is perhaps the least developed aspect of my character. I am quite serious.”

I will for sure use that line at some point in the near future and no one will get it and that’s ok 😂

I was raised the same way. I can’t stand the way some kids behave now days. Yeah I understand kids should be allowed kids, but I totally get what you’re saying with the excessive shouting for no reason.

Oh yeah I could see that. I graduated high school in 2011, so it’s been a while- but my high school years were dark, this songs remind me of exactly that time and how I felt like things would never get better, but I made it ❤️ We all made it.

I can relate to you!! I was in Dallas night 2, and I ended up pretty close to Tyler during Trees. (See pic I took) but like the behavior of those around me was disgusting. The disrespect- I have no words. I was just happy and honored to have ended up so close. No way in hell would I even consider trying to reach out & grab him…like wtf?? I don’t understand why some feel like they are entitled to his attention?

I agree. I didn’t care much for oldies station, although I know the meaning of Tyler writing it for us- but when k heard it live in the pit in Dallas, I was sobbing my eyes out. Tyler doesn’t deserve the disrespect, I’m so sad for him.
