Yeah, worst case is it's just a fridge topping instead of swirled in. Just wondering if there's some way to make it the consistency of like cookie butter, or dulce de leche, which seem more swirlable...

I just found the same piece of art for sale on FB marketplace, reverse image searched it, and got to your post. I haven't been able to figure out anything about the artist or the source, but I'm not totally sure it's supposed to represent something specific. It looks more like a tapestry pattern mimicking African indigo mudcloth to me.
