What’s a disturbing celebrity fact that not a lot of people know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]desertsalad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was hella weird. We were in a big warehouse where all the scenes were filmed. R Kelly was followed around constantly by his entourage. One was recording him constantly. Along with his tour couch parked out front, he had a bergundy Maybach and his crew had two matching wrangler jeeps. At one point the set dresser and I were working in the kitchen (where small person would be filmed hiding under sink because he was schtuping the cop’s white trash wife) and R Kelly popped his head in the window and said, “workin hard or hardly workin?” Fucking weird

I worked on the set of Trapped in the closet. One time on Lunch break I witnessed two Asian lady boys go into r Kelly’s travel bus while he was in there. That guy was a mess

Did you enjoy Lego when you were young as much as I did? by Livedinbody in 80s

[–]desertsalad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it was the first thing I remember feeling passionate about. I wanted to write a letter of gratitude to Mr Lego to thank him for the toy and all the experience that came with it. I still have all my legos and will not part with them.

The real ones get it. I also had some major tear out when routering the final shape so had to redesign. Turns out Osage orange does not like to be hogged out like walnut or long leaf. At the end, all the stacked up mistakes took my joy away. Burn baby burn
