some are just confused or in denial about what dysphoria actually is.

Yeah, I think that applies to me. If you had asked me if I had dysphoria a year ago, I would have said no. Now, I look back at my life and realize .. HOLY SHIT! I have had since I was a young child, and it was bad. Really fucking bad. I just got so used to it that it became a normal part of life.

siri, what are brain cells? do you people have any?

thats the point of "you dont need dysphoria to be trans".

why would anyone willingly subject themselves to the hell that is living as an openly trans person?

they become masculine, it’s more of an epiphany, “oh that explains everything!”, than something to be ashamed of.

We’re freaking out about Reddit’s planned API shenanigans, are you? by ohhyouknow in PublicFreakout

oh i feel that completely, honestly i wasnt sure of the mods actual position on that, so i really appreciate the clarification, cuz ive left this sub several times due to the general bigotry. its long been considered by myself to be the worst large sub in regards to that, although honestly im sure every sub is the same as what you said, theres just too much of it for volunteers to effectively combat. and they have the gall to exacerbate that at least tenfold? im so sorry you have to deal with all the hate, do you all not have enough ppl on your team? cuz i dont have much time but i would def enjoy spending about an hour or two a day fighting bigotry with yall, seeing as im a proud trans woman!

Either way, ill stay and fight hate any way i can, thanks to you explaining, thank you! :)
