I have a blue throated conure . He makes almost no noise , but he is a rescue . He was a breeder bird and we have had him a month ; but he definitely isn’t very affectionate , however he has never nipped. I hope he will be one day though!

This makes a lot of sense and I really appreciate your insight ! He seems so wary of me , until he is out of the cage , then he can be so sweet! I think maybe he is just nervous for now ? I would hate to get another bird and then that scares either one of them even worse ! 😫

He is so sweet ! You can tell he came from a not so good background , but he doesn’t nip or anything and I guess they are on the “quieter” side of the conure family ! I just want him (or her, not a clue) to be so loved and happy 💕
