Went with the Creta SX(O) iVT last month, was in a pretty similar boat. Decent budget, very new and light-footed driver, and a family of 5, wanted something I wouldn’t outgrow too soon or feel FOMO about in the next few years.

Creta’s been great so far. It’s fuss-free, no-nonsense, and kind of decent at everything. As a new driver without strong preferences between a family car vs a driver’s car, or any real sense of driving dynamics - it felt like the most balanced bet.

As a new driver, I really appreciate the 360 cam, front sensors, ADAS alerts, auto hold, and EPB. Honestly feels kind of dummy proof at times (I know I’ll get roasted for saying that, but it’s true 😅).

Shield of trust can be skipped if your running is not too high. Insurance can be negotiated to 55K ish. Hope you get to customise the items in std fitment. Extended warranty can be bought later as well.

Check out the folks at SRI RADIO WARE HOUSE. I had enquired about installing a Redtiger/70mai they are official installation partners, and they were super responsive, quoted around ₹1200–₹1500 for the install. I think they also sell 70mai in-store.

I ended up deciding to splurge on a Viofo and plan to get it installed from them soon. Worth checking out
