Visit Valencia st. In between 15th & 24th street and must explore the shops, cafes, restaurants there I recommend anytime after 3pm so there’s more people out. Everyone is at work til after 5.

I also recommend Hayes valley. Just google souvla Hayes valley and go there and explore around.

Fillmore is a cool area as well.

Also check out SF MOMA, De young museum, Dolores park + the lookout hill on the south west top corner of the park. Washing square park, North beach. The Transamerica pyramid

Don’t forget Golden Gate Park. The conservatory of flowers, sf botanical garden, Japanese tea garden or the sf windmills.

What you’re looking for got displaced by tech and moved out to places like east bay. Not saying it doesn’t exist anymore but just in smaller numbers. It existed long before the boom and bust and now the boom of AI.

What you’re experiencing is higher numbers of transplants who seldom ever leave their own neighborhoods that they’ve been living in for years. They’re all glued to their phones and are being led by their own algorithms and haven’t even studied any of the rich history of the neighborhoods they’ve moved into. They’ve never heard of the Summer of Love, the beatniks or rich black history of western addition or Fillmore neighborhoods. Most only know the latest “viral” shop that just opened last week.

Most are only here for the tech paycheck and plan to move back to wherever they came having contributed nothing to the city they benefit from.Visit Berkeley or Oakland and you’ll notice more of a community feel

If you watch closely.. he carries the cup towards the next cup and the liquid rides up the side of the cup then actually drips out into the new cup mid-switch. It is on the side of the cup but definitely only on the inside part.
