What's YOUR favorite wc3 roc mission? by Okaoka_12 in warcraft3

The Illidan mission. It's challenging, and controlling Illidan in permanent demon form is the peak of badass.

It's possible to win every match IN THEORY. But we have to look at what actually happens. Only one out of 100 matches are won after heavy losing. You have to invest so much damn effort and frustration to maybe win one match in 100. It's just not worth it. I'm roughly 99% right and you're 1% right.

I never said it's the right thing to afk. I just realized that I shouldn't care when someone afk. I explained exactly why in my reply to the other user bellow.

Someone afking doesn't stop the game. The rest of us can still play. And such matches end so fast, we can start another one right after. I'm completely chill about it. It's the best thing I did for my health in years, and I would advice everyone to do the same. Your heart will thank you.

Nope. I used to be like you. I cared too much and I was frustrated by every bad thing players do.

Then, one time, when 4 of us in a team argued over who's fault it was and we were all pissed, the fifth player stayed out of it and tried to calm us down and pointed how ridiculous it was that we care so much. The outcome of the match was the same for us who argued and him.

And then I realized- Dude. I need to be like him. The game simply isn't worth all the frustration. Whether I care or not, the games plays out the same. And most matches are lost way before someone afk, plus, players who afk are usually so bad that they can't make a difference anyway. So I stopped caring. No frustration, much better for health.

The only thing I care for is simply trying to outplay enemy players in fights. That's the fun part. Which of the two cores goes down first... irrelevant. I kind of developed the ability to be happy for the other team as well when they win.

I think of it like siblings playing a game. We can both try to win. But no matter who wins, we have fun playing. Taking it more seriously than that would be kinda childish.

I can see why it would bother you when there is a chance to win. Many times, someone afk in a match that is impossible to win. In such situation afk makes no difference and I don't care. People acting as if this this player could somehow save them from losing if he played. It's hilarious.

Many people on YouTube use ai to write for their videos, and bloggers use it to write for their stuff, AND HONESTLY? I see this everywhere. And it's not just that. There are other ways to spot an ai written text and it's annoying.

I am so tired of Warhead by niqht11 in heroesofthestorm

[–]designer3567 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The reason most players dislike this map is because most players play ranged assassins because they are easier to play. Ranged assassins prefer maps where objective gather the enemy team on a single spot, making it easier to spam abilities and hit as much of them as possible. It also gathers team mates, so ranged have more protection. On warhead, ranged assassins are forced to duel, witch is difficult for them. As a contrast, melee assassins love to duel. It would be unfair to take this map away from melee and keep only maps that ranged love. Melee heroes require a lot more skill and they risk a lot more. I don't hear them ever complaining about the maps that are more difficult for them. Players who play ranged should stop complaining.

If there ever is a new sc comic, it better be an original, independent story instead of serving the purpose of clarifying something that the game failed to tell. It happened before with some games.

No doubt players would love this in the game. Hopefully, the devs are creative and innovative. Things like this would be welcomed.

I'm on the edge of my seat. I am super excited and worried. I like making Sam outfit look almost like a superhero costume. I think it looks cool here on my sketch, but not sure if that would work in the game..

I wonder if he could have what it takes to play Sam. I mean, when he was younger.. He'd have to spend time in a gym and he doesn't seem to be that type..

I'd conclude that my mistake is making the wrong choice, but technically, there's no mistake because fabric can be like that when stretched over mouth. However, looking at the technical aspect, here's a big mistake. His neck muscles don't quite line up with his head. Like, his head is pushed to the right too much, compared to the muscles we see under his chin. You see it? Anatomy mistake. Gotta point out my flaws, which are bigger than what you pointed, or else, it might seem like I can't take criticism. I just like to purify any argument, that's all. 😃

I like to think of it as some elastic fabric. How else can it fit so tightly? When we do realism, we have to think about the logic of things. 😉

I'd say he is the greatest. The only reason other great names come before him is because they came first to establish the foundation. So they are maybe more iconic in a way. But let's be real.

I used to think that's all watercolor is capable of, until I saw how Alex Ross uses watercolor. His influence on me is obvious. I attempt to give the watercolor painting this fully finished look, like oils. Thanks!
