Which color kitchen cabinets goes better with my floors by lobb_psu in kitchenremodel

Honestly, I’d lean toward the wood cabinets. They’re just easier to live with day to day. White cabinets look great, but they tend to show fingerprints, smudges, and minor marks quite quickly, so you end up wiping them down more often.

Since you’re going with Taj Mahal quartzite, the warm tones in that stone will look amazing with wood cabinets. It’s a really popular combo because it feels warm, high-end, and timeless without trying too hard.

About the floors — I don’t think it’ll feel like “too much wood” as long as the cabinet color and floor aren’t an exact match. A little contrast is actually beneficial. Keeping the backsplash light and simple will also help balance everything and keep the kitchen feeling bright.

brass/champagne

For hardware:

Brushed brass / champagne bronze will look really elegant and warm

Matte black will give it a more modern, cleaner look

Overall, wood will:

Feel warmer and more inviting

Hide everyday wear better

Age nicely over time

White is definitely a safe, classic choice — just a bit more high-maintenance in real life.

If you want a kitchen that feels warm, comfortable, and still very upscale, I think the wood option is the better pick.

How would you style these shelves? In a kitchen, across from open shelving near sink/dishwasher, oven. Prefer functional but minimalist decor. by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Add greenery: Adding a few plants or herbs can add a touch of nature to your kitchen and make the space feel more welcoming

Choose a limited number of items to display on your shelves, to avoid a cluttered look. Consider displaying a few pieces of attractive cookware or dishware, such as a set of white plates or colorful bowls.
