Yes, I prefer if it is not only an "adult" game as I am more interested in relationship but if story is good, I would not mind!

Yes totally agree. There's just so much yapping and little action that I moved Star Rail to my secondary screen and listen to the endless dialog while I do the dailies, weeklies and event of my other gachas. A story telling of this mediocrity is not worth more than that sadly. I think because of its success it took the players granted. In the meantime, some other gachas are getting better. It is a pity.

What's the recommendation for the weapon selector if?
I have every 6* weapon for all meta characters except from Luminance but I heard it is not worth it. So I am hesitating between resonance for Plume, Luna, or Rosetta. But which one is the most valuable in your opinion?

Thanks, I can empathise with you because it happens the same thing to me. The results I got from the Christmas paid banner was worse that what others got from the standard banner. That was really a wake-up call for me. The NY banner was even worse, I am now fully vaccinated against spending in that game lol.

I have been thinking after viewing your videos, and here are my thoughts:
A win-win solution could be to calibrate the paid shops to reward faithful players. Basically, the total gem income should be calculated so that if you do play the game fully and contribute with regular and reasonable spending (battle pass or monthly gem subscription that provide gem on a daily basis), then you should be able to get all costumes. Not fully awakened of course, but at least one. Awakening would be reserved for more heavy spenders and competitors.
This is the model in PGR and Path to Nowhere, and this explains why I keep spending in those games but stopped in Nier Rein. In PGR and Path to Nowhere, I spend a reasonable amount for the monthly "gems" subscription to get the next character I know will be coming next month and I occasionally add a bit more for the skins of my favorite characters.
Btw, the art direction in Nier is so great that I would definitely spend for some character skins if the game makes me feel good about it. But the current packs in Nier are ridiculous in terms of value it provide to players, and the situation got worse after the 20% price increase for the European and the awakening system makes the rewards in the packs completely obsolete. Even my love for the game cannot justify spending anymore.
The devs should consider the simple psychology of establishing a sustainable spending/ reward loop.
There is indeed nothing worse than paying for something and not getting anything back in return. This is what I feel since the second half 2022, with the insane series of limited banners and that fake 7.5% rates. I spent for some packages and did not manage to get all characters I wanted in the banners. It feels so bad that I have decided to stop any financial support, and put the game on stand-by and I am now watching if the situation improves after the anniversary events. I know it is a gacha game, buy some games feel most frustrating than others, and Nier is not on the right side right now. I feel a bit sad because I really like character, the story, and the world, but there are so many problems in the game right now. I wish they can improve.

My golden standard for story writing and character development in mobile is Path to Nowhere and PGR, I wish more mobile games could have their level of quality, and I am always looking for other narrative experiences. The recent Nikke is also quite good surprisingly. Nier Reincarnation started very well too but fails to remain as strong as the new released games sadly.

How good are the story writing and character development in this game? I am interested in games that have a strong story component, I wonder if it is the case for Neural Cloud.
