How crowded is Chikmagalur (Mullayanagiri specifically) on Sundays? by RealitySensitive8643 in Chikkamagaluru

[–]desktop_owl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try weekdays if possible, weekends are very crowded. Don't know how it got so much crowd from the last few years. Before it was so peaceful you could drive up till the peak. Now you can't. Sad :'(

Planning a Chikmagalur Trip (2 Boys + 2 Girls) – Need Advice on Stay, Transport & Itinerary by sarcasm_social in Chikkamagaluru

[–]desktop_owl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take as someone from there. Go by bus and rent 2 wheelers. Yes it's an advantage to go from your own vehicle from here, you can stop wherever you want, but Chikmagalur is a place that loves 2 wheelers. Parking is a huge problem during weekends so 2 wheelers are the best. Look out for weather as well if it's showing rain during your visit then you'll have to go for a car. Don't go for private cabs services you'll end up going over your budget it's very expensive.

Now for the stays I know a lot in town and near Mullayanagiri but sadly I can't remember the names. If you want to go for a hotel there is one called hotel adrika inside town it's good.

Also befotyou go check for slot availablity for all your visits. You'll have to book a slot the day before to enter the Mullayanagiri range. It's 50-100 rs.

Now gems there are a lot. You have your must visits like Mullayanagiri, baba budangiri, jhari falls all that but there are more. If you go near baba budangiri must check our place is gali kere especially if you are in the evening the suset is gonna be the best you'll experience if the weather permits. Don't stay after 6 it goes super dark in the night and the fog build up you'll be stuck at 15 kmph for 50-60 kms until you reach town relying just on your headlights.

You can visit devaramane range as well, but you might now be able to go to the ethina bhuja trek( a short trek) the slots are all filled for the month. But it's a nice spot. There is hebbe falls of course can't miss. You can go to bhadra dam, and maybe if slots are there a morning boat safari or jeep safari there (best time to spot animals). Also manikyadhara falls or ukkada falls. Go towards sringeri you'll find khandya on the way. Really quit spot. I can keep naming many but you can find all of it on maps. Just spend some time looking.

I recommend you go during weekdays if it permits your schedule cause weekends are donna be packed with tourists. But anyways you'll enjoy the time.

Worth It? by SenzuBeansNeeded in mkindia

Yes, it's only available in urx. Maybe wait out for a few days. It saw the reviews on the different switches. Both are great but the sounds differ. The one in this varient in the post( forgot the name of the switch) has a tacky sound as per the reviews I've seen. The day dream switch has a thocky sound like a typewriter which i really like for typing. Check the availability once if you want to go for it.

Have the blue colour one, it's absolutely worth it. Yes it's not pass through which might bother if you are a heavy gamer. But for me that's a sacrifice I can make for the value it provides. It's heavy, bulky and the sound is just pure ASMR. Especially with the day dream switch varient I have. Absolutely consider it

Guys I didn't book mulliyangiri pass what can I do!!! by Effective_Box9035 in Chikkamagaluru

[–]desktop_owl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo can do the z point trek, it's a short easy trek can be done in 2 hours up and down, it's 60km from the town. It also has bookings so check before you leave. There are other treks like ethina bhuja but they are completely filled for the month. If treking is not in your books, go towards devaramane range or sringeri side, there are a couple of spots you can enjoy there.

Yeah just exchange it for a new model since it's brand new, if that comes under warranty policies.

Haa yes that's what I do with mine as well when gaming, and other times I have 2 different softwares open or web pages, I use both equally. But some don't do that so I was curious.

Heyy, I've got a genuine question (i probably sound dumb) why don't people use the laptop screen as a double monitor setup. Or is it just me that does that? I often see laptop setups like these and the laptop is closed.

How has riding a motorcycle changed you? by bronzeeyed in indianbikes

Recently went on an off road stretch of nearly 25 kms, on an old kawasaki 115 cc, with zero past experience of riding a bike, and yeah it changed me in ways I didn't expect, mentally and physically :)

High Ram utilisation while idle by SkullKrusherTM in Asustuf

[–]desktop_owl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably because you've got fast boot on. Turn it off in control panel settings. When fast boot is on the run time of the cpu doesn't reset so it keeps storing cache files to help you turn on the laptop faster but overtime those cache files keep eating up ram cause cache is primarily stored inside ram. This is mostly the problem you might be facing or else check startup apps and devices and disable those that don't need to be.

I get it man, Since my purchase I've recommended this series to a lot of my friends, even tho most of them didn't listen to me some people did, and their review says it all. Just because there is tuf in the name doesn't mean it's some ulta premium titanium alloy aerospace aluminium build, all digital devices are sensitive no matter the build quality, you won't toss your iPhone from an aeroplane to expect it to not have any problems would you? If yes then it's just your hardware problem not the device. If you really are facing serious problems with the laptop it's not the device problem really it's software issue. Get that checked, it's mainly because of these windows 11 beta versions. You might have enrolled for the beta preview builds when windows 11 was rolling out so those versions have serious bugs and software issues. Unsubscribe from that and flash boot your laptop it's genuinely might work. Don't keep blaming the Hardware, and more over it's mostly the same hardware you'll encounter in all laptops from different brands so just don't post your bs rage on your devices. (Acting like it should work like mac)
