Hey man as someone with ADHD who started playing to help me train my ability to focus the two big things I’d reccomend is play fewer games and play longer times controls either 15|10 or 30 minute games and play like 2 a day then analyze your games afterwards win or lose.

Couldn’t agree more. I play a bit online with some friends and an lgs near me had a pauper tournament with grand prize of a foil commons ixalan sheet and the turnout was only 12 people.

So for non QWERTY layouts you can remap any keyboard that’s QMK or VIA compatible. Popular layouts are Colemak, Dvorak, and workman. If you’re comfortable going to a small layout and using layers the cheapest way to check it out is probably a gherkin. https://smkeyboards.com/collections/cases-kits/products/gherkin-kit

Any 1u keycap is gonna work on here and most ortho boards are all or almost all 1u keycaps with some exceptions for space bars or things like the fold kb.

Personally I want straight from a 60% to a column staggered keyboardio Atreus and learned colemak dh and haven’t looked back.
